Harsh northwest conditions such as rain and freezing temperatures are two main causes for cracks forming in your asphalt. Cracks in return can lead to costly repairs. Neglecting these cracks allows water to penetrate the pavement, softening the asphalt and resulting in premature failure of the surface. Here at JAM, we use a hot rubberized crack sealer to seal the cracks in the asphalt. This in turn stops water from entering the crack and penetrating beneath the asphalt surface. We use top of the line equipment to fully clean and dry the crack prior to applying a band of hot rubber over the crack.
